Maple Syrup

Each spring, the sap comes up the maple trees. The trees are tapped and their sap is collected with various types of equipment. Evaporating the sap makes maple syrup! We will often offer jars of our maple syrup to our customers. Watch the store page for availability. We prefer to do things as nature intended, therefore, we do not filter the end product of sugaring. We filter the bugs and whatever that comes in with the sap, but process and do not filter after, leaving the natural product of "maple sand" which is harmless and indeed edible. Some folk do not enjoy this, so if you do not like the texture of the maple sand, allow your jar of syrup to sit and the "sand" will fall to the bottom.
